Melvin ” Magic Mike” McCullen was born in N.C. I move to NYC at age 5. I began to play basketball at 11 yr old with some of my older cousin. By age 13 I began to play tournament basketball . I was a Original Little Laker in Preteen 305 1st Year my team went undefeated 13 – 0 as I grab 16 point and 4 steal 3 assist in the Championship game. From there I began to play with the Bedford Boys club at the time it was one of the breeding grounds for Pro players like the Kings Brothers{Bernard of the Knicks}, Scurry Brother {Carry of the NETs} and Many of the players who began to make their way in the game in NYC. I then went to school at Eastern District H.S. where I play for the Varsity Basketball team all four years from 1980 – 1984 . During that time I won :
The Manufacture Handover/ Adidas shoot out and free throw shooting multiple Champion.
Scored my personal record high 107 points in a single basketball game.
